Reasons for no posts for a while

  1. I've been busy
  2. I've been tired
  3. I've been lazy
  4. Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World Gameplaying
It's mainly the 4th option when I get the time to play it. VOICED SKITS! :D

Wiimote + nunchuck controls weren't as bad as I thought they would be.

Kirin: Elder Dragon

Again, I don't have screenshots for this post because I'm a lazy ass. Or rather, I wish there was more of an effective way of screenshots on this game. Printscreen with a cool down time isn't the greatest thing ever. It's more horrible.

Anyway, about yesterday. We found out we had access to fight Elder Dragons now. The first one we tried to do when I got on was Kirin, the lightning unicorn. Somehow, it's an Elder Dragon, yet it's completely immune to the Dragon Element attacks.

This bastard's lightning hurts, it either takes a full bar for OHKO or just whacks you away like a swatted fly. It seriously hurts so badly. I dunno if that deals Dragon Element damage in its lightning attacks, but holy crap. Not to mention, Rathian armor is weak against lightning, so it's a double negative on me.

Kirin can be grounded easily by a hammer, however, it's also easily pissed off. You know it's pissed when it's own body produces electric sparks all the time.

We suicided on this Elder Dragon, but we did it in a graceful way. Fried. And rolling off a cliff.

MH Today

Today was a good day. We broke the Diablos wyvern wall, though we only bothered fighting it once. Then we mined.

Then after a while, we started to do one of the weekly quests we got from service. Daimyou Zazami and Shogun Gizami, the two boss crabs. We grabbed our hammers and started wailing on them for fun. Surprisingly, we got a shit load of money and materials from them both. Our group got themselves up to HR 22+.

We unlocked the tower quests and we started to explore it. I like the place already, since it's giving Dragonite ore for upgrades. I mean good god. We've been waiting for this. Especially since it makes a lot more weapons available to us. The Tower Dungeon is a two-part map which is pretty nice.

I love it. Especially since Elder Dragons are fought there. Delicious.

I NEED ELDER DRAGON BLOOD. >:(

No new post today

No new post today. I'm tired from school, work, and other things. Not to mention, I'm lazy on posting sometimes. But really, I'm tired and I didn't take the time to really report anything. Election day tomorrow. Today for some. I'm not old enough to vote, nor do I really know who to vote for. I want to see what happens when the next president is elected.

I'm not big on politics, I dislike them. But I can use them as an example for comics and stories.

Please don't torment me about not having a real post today. :(

I'll do it tomorrow, or something. :(

AH AH PUT THAT HAMMER DOWN.

MHF: Yesterday

I don't have screenshots to supply to this post, because I was being a lazy bastard at the time. I wish FRAPS did not cause my computer to lag during Monster Hunter Frontier play.

Yesterday was a bit frustrating, especially for Awolkia. It involved the bloody damn Snow Monkey for her unlock quest to get passed HR 16. Unfortunately, this did not go so well when it was myself, herself, and Mimi in the party. And as well as the disconnection before that with myself, Awolkia, and Taichi.

What happened was the game decided to pull a dick move on us when we killed it at the last second. Saying, "HA HA HA HA HA YOU FAIL." and then it gave us body details of the Snow Monkey since we killed it. Anyone should imagine how pissed Awolkia was. Once the whole group got on, we proceeded to rape it in the ass. Hard.

I forget what else we did that day, but it sure pissed us off.

Akane-Iro ni Somaru Saka Episode 5

Looks like we have another anime post. If you people wonder why I'm not reviewing the episodes before this one, it's because I'm lazy and don't wanna go back that far just to make some posts on those episodes especially since I got this blog after I watched those episodes.

Thank you Aero-Subs for subbing Akasaka. :D

I like this series as much as Kannagi, Toradora, and a few others.

This episode was overall pretty nice. Beginning with Yuuhi and Minato talking about Jun'ichi.

o rly?

Jun'ichi barges in saying to go on a date with Minato, which made Yuuhi go LKASJDKLSJDIOAHLAKSDJ. He had two tickets to some monster movie.

Minato ditched them both so only those two would go see the movie, due to a phone call making an excuse using that.

After the movie, this happens:

Of course, if you think he got into a fight, he didn't. They just left. Nothing special for guys their size. I wonder how that happened. Oh well, they're probably a bunch of pansies.

And then we get a misunderstanding from someone seeing them.

They both escaped afterwords though. Did some other things and went home.

Of course, Jun'ichi gets wet from trying to fetch Yuuhi's hat. Yuuhi once again goes HALASKDJBJKADSAIDSLS. Thinking he was deathly sick when he sneezed once in while sitting in the river, keeping the hat dry.

HEADBUTT.

Minato comes home, and probably does the best thing ever. Cook his bloody favorite ramen.

After him eating the ramen and getting a good night's rest. He felt better in the morning.

Her response vs. my response of "ramen is win".

Of course, everyone found out about them together in school.

And god, I hope I don't get disappointed by the end of this anime. I have a feeling I might, but I hope not.

Are you getting tired of the Monster Hunter posts yet?

No, seriously, are you?

Today in Monster Hunter Frontier, our partying group was repeatedly doing Rathian for the parts. Respectively, we all got full Rathian armor sets for the boss sense armor skill from the whole set.

DIVE DIVE DIVE

Anyway, thankfully to this, we didn't have to use paintballs to mark Rathian ever again. After we got a complete set for Awolkia, Taichi, Mimi, and myself. We started to take on Rathian as a full party with the intent of strangling and killing the damn Ian (Rathian).

WOOHOO! TAKE THAT YE' DAMN BASTARD!

And as you can see... We succeeded... Breaking the second boss wyvern wall.

After a bit of a break, Taichi and Awolkia were at HR 16 and could not level any further. Taichi started up his HR 16 unlock quest, which we had hoped it was a shared quest since Mia was HR 16 too.

The damn Blagonga, the snow monkey at the snow mountains in Monster Hunter Frontier. That bastard gave us quite the trouble. It took us a few tries, but thanks to handy work of flash bangs and stun traps, we got him down with a bang from Mimi's Gunlance Wyvern Fire and Awolkia's flaming arrows that seem to make Blagonga flinch every chance she got with additive poison coating too!

I love how I'm just blown away along with it.

We found out the quest wasn't shared and we'd have to do Awolkia's HR 16 unlock quest later. Of course, not today, we were pretty tired and found the interesting lightning element weakness it had.

After that, we did Khezu, what we didn't expect was...

THE KHEZU WAS FUCKING RED.

Killed everyone and jumped on me on the cliff for a mission fail.

That's about it today for MHF.

Monster Hunter Again!

Due to a little difficulty I won't be able to show screenshots for today either. I'm a lazy bastard and accidently used PNG instead of JPEG setting for FRAPS screenshotting. I'm using FRAPS to screenshot because Monster Hunter Frontier has a cool down timer for screenshots. Now, that I screwed up the FRAPS pictures, I can't post them due to the unnaturally huge and unfriendly size.

Today, we were helping out our friend Batsu play the game. Since he was not a service payer, he was limited to Hunter Rank 2. Awolki, Taichi, and I pounded normal Hunter Rank 1-2 mini-bosses with him the Bullfango boss (I forget the real name) and the Velicydrome, or however you spell that damn raptor's name.

It didn't take us long to have him reach HR2. However, when we were going to try the very weakened trial Kutku, apparently, we didn't choose the right one. The trial one was in the main hub village outside of the room. Which is HR Limited to 1~10, while we were around 13~15. So we weren't able to do it with Batsu and he had to do it by himself.

OTL

I feel bad that we can't help him with that.

After a bit, we decided to do another mission. Since we couldn't find the Money Kutku mission, which supplied the golden and gray eggs that sold for roughly 5,000~10,000 z each. So Taichi found a "Hunt/Capture 6 Kutku Wyvern" mission. A three star difficulty mission. Which actually doesn't sound all that bad. Especially with Awolkia's Full Rathian armor ability to see boss locations. (She's a very very good imouto.)

During the mission, it was actually six bloody Kutkus. They spawned two at a time though, in Area 6 on the map in the Jungle region. I found this mission to be very awesome and epic. Despite us raping them. Mostly Mia and Taichi for their HAMMER TIMING and Great Sword bashing. The end reward was pretty awesome since we broke the last Kutku's ear in time. Plenty of Kutku rewards.

After a while, Mimi, our GANRANSU, gunlance, specialist came aboard to join. We ended up doing Gypceros, a poison wyvern, for jewel tickets. Wanted to capture it, but we killed it too fast.

A short break after...

We started to mine in the volcano and it was the Basarios, fat stone wyvern, mission. We just managed to break open its stomach from exploding rocks of doom, that bursted on me. It was my first time in the volcano and I died to a damn exploding rock. I was pretty much there to mine rust in hopes for an Ancient Sword and Shield weapon. We abandoned ship after completing the two sub-objectives because we wouldn't be able to kill Basarios without a large amount of cooling potions to avoid being burnt alive in the volcano heat.

After that, Awolkia and I retired for today from being so damned tired. Even now, I'm really god damn tired. Tomorrow is a full day of school as well. I was hoping for early release tomorrow.

OTZ

I r tired and done writing now kthx.

Toradora Episode 5

This will be my review of Toradora Episode 5, thankfully CoalGuy subs got this in pretty quickly. Some people say the anime is going a bit fast-paced.

Maybe, just maybe. To me it seems just fine, even though they skipped a bit on most parts. If you haven't watched Toradora Episode 5 yet, I suggest not to read this post for the safety of yourself.

This one started out interesting with pretty much Ryuuji asking Taiga about going to Johnny's to go see Minori. Though, that plan backfired when she was not there working that day, causing him to go into massive orz.

A little bit later, this episode introduces the new character, Ami Kawashima.

Good God, how did you manage to get her as a childhood friend?

Of course, despite her cute looks and so-called air-headed personality. Her true nature was shortly revealed after Kitamura and Ryuuji head off to the bathroom, when they really weren't. She's basically a bitch. Nothing else needed to describe, even though she's a model. One slap from Taiga ended it all with them leaving the family restaraunt.

Shortly thereafter...

Gasp.

WHAT.

oh hai.

I think those three images sum up what happened in the next few scenes.

Taiga's hand burns with an intense anger.
She's going to fuck your day up.

A series of funny note passing ensues thereafter. Kitamura planned to have Ami come to their school to show her true nature to others, so she wouldn't have to hide her true self anymore. And she would accept that if people hated her for it. Or so he says.

She'll always be watching, waiting, right behind you Ami. = =+

After that scene, Ami says a few lies about Kitamura hating her causing her to set herself in her apartment and go emo. Ryuuji clears up what Ami said since it was a lie. Ryuuji's mother complained about no sauce for the food he cooked earlier, which was pork cutlets.

During that shopping scene, Ami was seen carrying two bags of snacks in different clothing, a hat, and sunglasses to hide something.

Just... What do you have planned?

Overall, this episode was pretty interesting. I didn't really laugh at any of the points except on Minori's note that was passed to Ryuuji. This episode was okay, since it was introducing a new character.

That's all I have to say this morning.

Painful Monster Hunter day

Today in a bowl of ramen...

Awolkia and I were going to play some CRUCIS Fatal Fake, which is a Fate/Stay Night Doujin Fighter based off the F/SN doujin. However, that failed with a kick to our jaw when the connection between us kept failing.

So, then after, we started up Monster Hunter Frontier with our friend Taichi. We're up for Rathian hunting. During that hunt, we were doing pretty well, then. Oh. Look. My internets decides to de-sync me from the rest of the group, meaning I couldn't see them and they disconnected from my party on my side. So, I had to abandon the mission with rewards. The rewards were actually quite plenty. Due to the hunting team breaking the head, neck, wings, claws, and ripping the fucking tail right off of it... I mean having Taichi and Awolkia chop it off, because I couldn't do to the reach of my axe compared to the tachi (long sword) and great sword.

After reconnecting, the group was back together in about an hour or so. They both could not kill Rathian (The Timer on the mission ran out).

Once the group was back together, we decided to do that damn wyvern again. It ended up in complete failure. Then we decided to just break her face, claws, neck, and chopping the tail off. Carve up the tail and head for the hills in the ship.

We got a good amount of reward, even though we did not kill it.

Our next fun mission was the Khezu, in the snow mountains. A white earthworm like wyvern that's completely blind, but the electric attacks are deadly if not dodged. We all used ranged weapons in fear of that. And after a tedious amount of time, defeated it in its sleeping nest. We got a good reward with the electric sacs. Then we all died horribly to its Blanka attack (an attack that charges electricity around itself, whacking people within melee range). We all died once. And three deaths meant mission over. And we were done for the night after that.

Sorry I can't entertain anyone reading this post with screenshots, because I absolutely fail at taking them and taking them while fighting.

To do list for tomorrow in MHF:
  1. Rathian Hunting
And I think that's about it, until we can create some new weaponry. Like the ancient weapons from the damn rust stones that I can't seem to mine up.

Until next time that I actually post, I'm tired. I want to sleep.

Mornings...

I hate mornings, just absolutely hate them. School today with AIMS testing. A lot of my boring classes are gonna be very very long. Even though, my school uses a semestered system of four classes.

Economy/Government was going to be my favorite subject if it taught mostly about economy. However, from what I'm being taught, it's more about government and politics. I'm really tired of politics. Boring. Though, it is important because of some pesky corrupt officials that exist in every government, and it's the people's jobs to recognize and vote no for the bad props. The only thing that's good about this course is that it helps me develop political characters for my manga showing me how the government works and how corrupted officials really screw things up.

Anyway, enough about that. I'm tired. I need coffee. And I'll probably post later after school, or if I watch anime, or if something happens on a game that's interesting, etc.
